Understanding Of Tenses

1.      Defenition
Change the verb is one factor that needs to be aware of well-controlled in the English language. This is so that we can speak English both oral and written correctly.
Tense Is  a  form of the tenses in English. Tenses are used to indicate when an event or events occur. The tenses are a description or explanation, when an event, incident, statements, news and action in the sentence appropriate to the circumstances, such as: current, past or the future or perubaha tense of the verb. In simple terms, tenses mean the form which shows the time, either from an act, activity or level of completeness.
there are several definitions given by some experts to provide insight or understanding of the learning of tenses.
·         Is the verb tenses in English is associated with description of the occurrence of an event. Tenses are the basis in to learn English. Each sentence in the English language has a structure sentences consisting of subject, have auxiliary verb (Helping verb) and object and description.
·         a grammatical category that locates a situation in time, that indicates when the situation takes place. In languages which have tense, it is usually indicated by a verb or modal verb, often combined with categories such as aspect, mood, and voice.
·         verb forms or arrangement of showing the difference in time
By understanding and mastering the English tenses would seem easy. Tenses is actually a very simple lesson, but often be difficult and requires a long time to master it Indonesia, especially for people who are not familiar with the structure of an arbitrary word.

2.      Purpose Of Studying Tenses
1)      determine whether an event occurred in the present,pat or future. Example:
·         i speak English fluentlyà present
·         I spoke English fluently à past
·         I shall speak enlish fluently à future
2)      Indicates whether an event was in a state of perfect or imperfect. example:
·          I have spoken English fluently (complete)
·          I am speaking English fluently (uncomplete)
3)      Demonstrate an incident on the progress or not. example:
·         I was speaking English when You Came (progress)
·         I was not speaking English when You Came (disprogress)
Certainly change in time and as a verb is very necessary to know in learning English, because without tense our words will be garbled and difficult to understand. For example, in writing or the writing of business letters on the delivery of goods, changes in time there are very important to know, whether it will be delivered today or next month. Forms of verbs and times like these that are indispensable in the written word.
